System shows another (not real) monitor

Post by elvad »

Hello!

Linux Mint 18.3 Geforce GT 730 Ryzen 1200 LG 22 "is connected via a DVI-I to VGA adapter

For some reason, the computer thinks that two monitors are connected

And the main monitor is Unknown VGA-0, on which it is impossible to select a resolution of 1680x1050.
And when you select Monitor LG 22 "the screen goes out. (Before sitting on the old hardware and everything worked fine)

What could be the problem?
