will ati work on linux? or should i stick with nvidia

Post by minty_22 »

I've always had nvidia for linux, i haven't had too much problems,

but im looking for a card that can support more than 4 monitors, im thinking about 6 monitors

i found this card, will amd cards work on linux without problems? i heard i should always stick with nvidia, is that true?

the card im thinking of getting is 3 of these cards, for total of 18 screens

There is a list of amd Linux supported cards on the net too.
If I have helped you solve a problem, please add [SOLVED] to your first post title, it helps other users looking for help.
