LG 34um67 Monitor Not Recognized
Just bought a new LG 34um67 monitor and it is not being recognized by Linux Mint. The monitor is connected via HDMI cable and is recognized by Windows 10 and able to use full resolution. On Linux Mint, under display settings, the monitor shows as "Goldstar Company Ltd 34' HDMI-0" and maximum resolution of 1920x1080. Please tell me how to get my monitor to full resolution of 2560 x 1080.

Re: LG 34um67 Monitor Not Recognized
Just a thought, can you connect via displayport to HDMI instead of HDMI to HDMI? I've got an LG widescreen running off a Thinkpad T430 with no problems at 2560x1080 with mint 18.3, monitor connected displayport to HDMI.
Thinkcentre M720Q - LM21.3 cinnamon, 4 x T430 - LM21.3 cinnamon, Homebrew desktop i5-8400+GTX1080 Cinnamon 19.0
Re: LG 34um67 Monitor Not Recognized
I don't have that cable in my house. Looks like I need to buy a special cable to get Mint running.
