usually I'm using this with switched off laptop's display, but doesn't matter the case below is the same if both displays are working.
display (this is ultra wide) works correct inside the session,
however it does show me nothing on login dialog (display's firmware doesn't show me "no signal on hdmi"),
the same issue if both monitors (internal/external) are enabled - black screen
after typing my password I'm logged into the session and displays work as expected
any idea?

The default video output port is set by your machine's BIOS. You might want to find out if the BIOS has support for changing the default output device.

however win10 works fine on the same hardware without any specific steps
