Software Rendering Mode - Using Nvidia in Driver Manager

Post by ricjamp »

Good day.
Recently encountered this problem a few days ago after I started using my Mint installation.
I'm currently dual-booting with Win10 and up till a few weeks ago I haven't used Linux. When this was a fresh install, there was no software rendering mode issue since I had already updated the kernel and installed the Nvidia driver but now it seems that I get software rendering mode whenever I go into Mint.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

What application did you do the arrows with, Pjotr?

A plugin for Gimp:

Note that both the size and thickness of the arrow are fully tweakable, by modifying the SF values at the end of the script.....

Thank you for the input but it seems my Nvidia driver is already in use but it's still showing up as Software rendering mode on boot.
