Sleep mode paralysis <SOLVED>

Post by vliscony »

After a recent kernel upgrade,

rogier@123456 ~ $ uname -a
Linux 123456 4.15.0-24-generic #26~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jun 15 14:35:08 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
rogier@123456 ~ $

there is something going on with sleep mode, where my screen is paralyzed and I end up having to restart. Often times it looks like the dual monitor desktop shrunk - sometimes to the right sometimes to the left, and the cursor will be frozen, and only a restart will do. Have been hunting around for a setting, but unsure of what to do.

Best thing for now is to revert to the previous kernel.

Indeed, rolled back from 4.15 to 4.13, problem gone.
