I have installed the newest nvidia-384 driver and i am running linux mint 4.13.0-45-generic. I have an Acer Aspire VN7-591G-73ZD notebook. I have plugged in an external monitor. When I start Linux Mint there is a little linux mint icon popping up for like 0.5 seconds, and then the login startup-page is displayed on the external monitor, while the internal laptop display stays black. When I log in i can use Linux on the external monitor, but the internal will stay black. However, the internal monitor is detected! I can for example drag a window to the internal laptop monitor.
When I start Linux Mint without the external monitor plugged in, the internal monitor will stay black.
i am happy about any suggestion! thank you in advance!
EDIT: i just upgraded from 4.10 kernel to 4.13 kernel, with the 4.10 everything worked fine. i did the upgrade via the update manager by mint.
