Today I have installed mint 19 and it does not recognize the second monitor resolution. It happened before on old mint versions until the installation of proprietary drivers. But since there are no amd drivers, is it possible to set the correct resolution in any way?

3. Primary monitor is Samsung syncmaster 920nw, connected on the vga adapter of the gpu card. Here everything is ok.
Secondary monitor is a Samsung tv LN32A450C1, connected on the dvi adapter of the same gpu card. According to the manual optimal resolution is 1360 X 768 pixels, 60Hz. Here is the problem: unknown dvi-0, and oly two resolutions available, none of them the optimal.

According to the manual optimal resolution is 1360 X 768 pixels, 60Hz. Here is the problem: unknown dvi-0, and oly two resolutions available, none of them the optimal.

Open the File Manager, right click in the empty space and select Create New Document > Empty Document. Name it
Save the file and close it. Right click on it and select Properties > Permissions. Mark the checkbox next to Allow executing file as program.
Open Startup Applications, click the
(substitute your-user-name with your actual user name, which I assume is mercedes).
Log out and back in to test the .xrandr script.
