Disregard my first post. I was thinking you had a laptop with hybrid graphics.
Post the contents of the
20-nvidia.conf and
20-intel.conf files.
Also post the
Xorg.0.log file. Use this command to open it:
xed /var/log/Xorg.0.log
. If there is a problem posting that long file, then it can be uploaded to
terminal.com pastebin using this command:
cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | nc termbin.com 9999
Post the URL link that displays in the Terminal window.
Well, I combined the the 20-*.conf files into the 10-*.conf files, so that's a plus, but I got to temporarily work in the last session before the current one, and I have no idea how...

there were also these three lines that were in the

Also I'm not sure if there's an issue with Mint or just me, but more often than not is that I leave my computer on for long periods of time, causing it to go to sleep, and so these issues are as a result of that, which is what I'm getting which I'm not sure if my i915 driver is fine, just a bad sleep, or having issues from the start. Though I
do remember that after restarting my system, I was messing around and moving the terminal window and it had smooth movement, but now it's movement is choppy.
Note: I have currently have just tested it and turns out that having a game open in the background is the cause of the choppyness.
EDIT: is it an issue if some games that use 3D have issues while other 3D games don't? Which is odd
