I'm trying to connect an EIZO monitor as an external monitor to my laptop. I have checked and this setup works with my other Lenovo T530 laptop very well under Windows, but from unknown reasons Linux is saying no no no to this idea. Any hints what can I do? Is this is a lost cause and I will have to try to return this monitor?
I'm on Linux Mint Cinnamon 19.1 with all of the updates applied.
The only reaction while turning on the laptop is that it blinks after login while the external monitor is plugged in.
