HDMI monitor not detected

Post by moufles05 » Thu Jul 25, 2019 12:10 pm

Hello,

My monitor is not detected on my Mint installation. It works on my dual boot Windows, works on a mint USB key, but not on the dual boot Mint. Fn+F8 button doesn't change anything. I installed proprietary nVidia drivers before trying the monitor. I tried with nVidia and Intel graphic card selected, and with proprietary and open source drivers.

Code: Select all

Xrandar

Right now the Intel GPU is selected.

Select the Nvidia GPU (I assume the Nvidia driver is still installed), reboot and then use this command to upload the Xorg.0.log file to terminal.com pastebin:
cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | nc termbin.com 9999

Post the URL link that displays in the Terminal window.

Thanks for your answer. This time the screen worked. I don't understand what happened.
I uploaded the logs anyway:

I'll post here again if it happens again.
