Thanks guys for your help!

Code: Select all
xrandr --output DP-2 --brightness 0.5

stopped working showing the message xrandr: Need crtc to set gamma on.
. However, the brightness issue was transferred to Windows: brightness at max with no option to change it By the way, my bluetooth on Windows works with the option "Switchable graphics", but not with the option "Discrete graphics".xbacklight -set 80
but doesn't work.acpi_osi=Linux
to the GRUB, in the edited line as before? I did it in the GRUB file so that I have this line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_osi=Linux"
, but its not working.ls /sys/class/backlight/*/*

from the "Startup applications" GUI, and put the GRUB line to its original state: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
I don't think that should happen. You should be able to find a way to correct the problem in Windows. Otherwise you would be forced to set the BIOS option back to Discrete Graphics.Jul10L4r4 wrote: However, the brightness issue was transferred to Windows: brightness at max with no option to change it
Yes. You would have to test the other parameters the same way and they may not work either. Xbacklight does not work on every laptop.Jul10L4r4 wrote: Do you mean to addacpi_osi=Linux
