Problem with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti and Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics on Linux Mint 20.1

My hardware:

Hello. I have a Polaris 17 from TUXEDO Computers, with a Ryzen 7 4800H (with Radeon Graphics) and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti. I have a fresh installation of Linux Mint 20.1 Ulyssa, and I have used Driver Manager to install the recommended graphics drivers (nvidia-driver-460).

This is how I switch to the NVIDIA drivers:

This is how I switch to the integrated graphics:

Noting that my integrated graphics are amdgpu, not intel, but even so, I believe the command parameter to switch to it is "intel". Even the NVIDIA applet has the intel option and no AMD option:


The problems:

When using the NVIDIA drivers:

• Only my external (HDMI) monitor is detected. The laptop's monitor does not appear at all in the Display settings.

• The default refresh rate of this monitor should be 60Hz, but instead it gives 50Hz as the recommended refresh rate. At 50Hz the screen is flickering, but fortunately I can change this manually to 60Hz.

When using the integrated graphics:

• Only the integrated laptop monitor is detected. The external (HDMI) monitor is not detected.

• The only available refresh rate for the internal monitor is 77Hz. The native refresh rate of this monitor is 144Hz.

The first step you need to do is install the 5.8 kernel in Update Manager > View > Linux Kernels for better kernel support for your hardware.
