Linux Mint loads up with low resolution

Post by Terragot »

Hello. I am new here, so please be patient. I have issue with my Linux mint where it boots up with much too low resolution. I have googled possible solutions, and what i found that this issue is related to Nvidia driver. I cannot find comprehesive solution for this issue by myself. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Does Ctl-Alt-Backspace fix the resolution? If so, a more permanent solution is in this thread [SOLVED] NVIDIA driver failing sometimes on boot ("no hardware acceleration").

To get a comprehensive solution, you need to provide the data requested in Section 5 of READ: How To Get Help!. If the above suggestion does not work, we need to see the data so we know how Mint sees your computer.
