Hi Everyone,
I have Linux Mint 20.3 (cinnamon) installed on my laptop (Thinkpad T15 ). When I connect my laptop to my monitor (Lenovo). I cant adjust screen brightness on the monitor. Can't seem to find much about this online. Am I missing something?
Any help in resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Crawf.

Re: Monitor Brightness Cannot Be Adjusted
The make/model isn't nearly enough info. Copy/paste the text output of inxi -Fxxxrz run in the terminal.

Re: Monitor Brightness Cannot Be Adjusted
no luck with the above...
Re: Monitor Brightness Cannot Be Adjusted
Does your external monitor not have buttons on it to adjust the brightness? I do not see where you have let us know the make and model of the monitor.
The inxi output you provided does not show a monitor attached. What port are you using to connect the monitor and what type of cable are you using? Also let us know if you are using a dock.
