I am a first time linux user. I recently installed Linux Mint 4.0.
I changed the default graphics driver from the default i820 to 965 (as I have a Intel 965 motherboard) in the Screens and Graphics menu.
Now the screen resolution is 640x480 and Only a part (about 1/4) of the desktop is visible.
I tried to restore the original settings but now Screens & Graphics menu is not visible.
I do not know what to do to restore default graphics driver settings.
Please help me... I'm new to linux.

Re: Help!: Screen Resolution Problem
Reboot, and choose recovery mode at grub screen. Once you log in run . This will take you through the steps to configure everything. If your not sure about something, just leave it as is. It will help to know your monitor refresh rates before you start.
Code: Select all
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
