Thank you, mmesantos1 !
By the way, that is not a KDE desktop (i personaly don't like KDE). It is Gnome. I have installed Compiz for effects and i find it more than enaugh. For the iconized pannel i have DockbarX. Nautilus was used for right-click-menu and Screenlets for... screenlets :D
I came to learn a lot in my one moth of LinuxMint usage, I used to be a W**d**s user, but now i found my true peace :P
Ask me anything and I'll share if I can, as others did with me!

How did you set the different icons in the nautilus pane for this screen shot? Set each icon individually?

I'm not really a fan of screenlets. they always seem a bit messy/cluttered for my liking.

Well... yes.
Here is a post I've made for those who want to configure Nautilus:

http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/linux- ... -menu.html

By the way, ~~~Refresh~~~ does nothing, because i could not found the actual command line that equals pressing CTRL+R or F5 button so I gave it the comand "lol"... so yeah "lol" it does nothing but is cool and feeds my addiction i have from using windows for years.

I hope it will answer all your questions.

I also think you were reffering to my link 4) not 2) in your quote :P

I couldn't either..
Makes you kind of nostalgic, doesn't it? I don't think much of those "I hate Windows" rants. Most users will probably have made their bones on some version of Windows, and they should be grateful for the experience and the lessons learned there.

I also spent some time on Deviantart and ended up with quite a few wallpaper. I think I will run out of HD space if I am not careful. Also very nice desktop Oscar799, love how the whole desktop matches very well.

Interesting window manager theme, do you have a link for it?

I also see you've added the up/parent arrow back to nautilus elementary. It's definitely something that's needed but I just can't find a position on the toolbar I'm happy with. :?
