it's a svn (subversion) command.
You "checkout" the repo edit the files and if you're ready you can add it again with "commit"
but graphical SVN-Clients suck (for me), with the consoleclient you're much faster
Thank you so much!mmesantos1 wrote:Well Khalid here are some of the links I use to pimp my desktop. For the sidebar thing that shows system info and time I think you are referring to conky, if so you can install that from synaptic package manager, click you menu then administration then synaptic package manager. Once in that program you can search conky or if you use the terminal then just type sudo apt-get install conky-all, I am including a link for conky config info. The thing below with a bunch of icons if I am understanding you correctly would be a dock, now there are many docks but the most used 3 that I know of are AWN, Docky, or Cairo dock. All of these can be installed via synaptic as well. Just search the name of the want you want to try. Themes for the dock are pre-installed and you can add more from gnome-look.org which I provided the link for as well. Well I hpe this answrs your questions.Khalid wrote:Can someone, like, if you don't mind.. post me links to Linux Mint resources, themes, stuff like that? To pimp my desktop?
Oh and.. y'know those sidebar things that put your system info? and time? I wonder what they're called?
Plus, the thing that is below with a bunch of icons.. what's that called too?
Sorry for being too stupid, thanks.![]()

Thank you oscar799.oscar799 wrote:Nice desktops mmesantos1 and red-e-made
I'm loving LMDE. Takes longer to boot (45 seconds til sign-in, then 20 seconds til fully loading desktop, as opposed to 25/10 for Mint 9) but once it's up, it's faster than the Ubuntu-based distro. Having seen this project when it was "just" an idea posted on this forum, I'm proud to use this distro.mmesantos1 wrote:Very nice red-e-made, love how you left the wallpaper centered and black on the left and right for your conky and icons. Also excellent wallpaper. How are you liking LMDE? Again nice work and thanks for sharing this work of art.
Thank you =] I must say I quite like the opacity effect on your windowsmmesantos1 wrote:Very nice work carl. It is nice and clean.
