Does anyone still use linux mint 13 MAYA in 2014? I need a stable version of Mint for my everyday computing and school work (computer science).

Yes. Maya is still actively used by many, myself included, and I suspect it will be until Mint 17 (the next LTS) comes out, and/or April 2017 when support for Mint 13 ends.

Mint 17 (LTS), comes out in May 2014.

Support for LM13 (LTS) ends in April 2017.

Hi!

I'm using LM13 MATE in my work desktop (web development), and works great!

Of course, I'm using some PPAs for newest versions 8) (Audacious, Wine)...
