Great distro and also great choice of software. But only one thing
i dont like and its Amarok. Maybe we should have a vote on which
librairy player you should include in your next Mint. I found Amarok
to be buggy ( freeze and also dont work well with the notification zone),
If you choose somehing more Gnomish, you could gain back all the KDE lib.
I too find that Amarok is better than anything but its the price to pay to have
a Gnome more stable.
Thanks again and its just a suggestion

Amarok crashes now and then when I synchronize songs with an ipod. Firefox crashes now and then but it can restore its session so it's not too bad, and Openoffice tends to take too much time to close itself... so I sometimes have a "force quit" dialog popping up
I guess it's not the most stable system ever

I really don't know... if you have any ideas yourself, please share them. We've got until the 20th to make it more stable
PS: This is completely off-topic, but I borrowed a nano from my niece to test Amarok's behavior (and also to mess a bit with it myself..). I'm buying a 30gb ipod at christmas and I can't make my mind on which color to go for. I checked colorware but they're expensive... do you recommend black or white ? Are scratches more visible on the black one ?

About Zune...
I don't have high hopes for Microsoft's attempt at an MP3 player. I could think of much better applications for a wifi-enabled pocket-sized player. The technology looks good, but I think M$ is going to go out of their way to cripple what it can do. For example, they are making a whole new music codec for Zune.. blah. There are already too many patent-encumbered proprietary codecs in the world. I use a Cowon A2 Portable Media Player.. I couldn't be happier with it.
