Where to Make Suggestions for Improving Mint? [SOLVED]

Post by Radish » Fri Nov 20, 2015 12:17 pm

Where do users make suggestions for improving Mint? Or, come to that, for requesting new features?

Mint 17.3 x64 Cinnamon - Rosa
When stating what version of Mint you are using remember to include the "Edition". Is it "Cinnamon", "Mate", "KDE" or "XFCE"? This helps others help you.

The community website has an ideas section: http://community.linuxmint.com/idea/welcome. Register an account to be able to post ideas and comment or vote on ideas.

You can also use the suggestions & new ideas forum: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewforum.php?f=29

Be mindful that all these places are NOT for ideas meant for application developers. If you have an idea how to improve an application or have a feature request for it, post that on the collaboration space of that application. And yes that goes for Linux Mint developed applications as well.

Thanks very much xenopeek.

Seems a lot friendlier system, less complex, than wanting to report a bug.
