Re: Were can I find Audio Books..
here's one that I would recommend :https://www.amazon.com/Learn-Linux-in-5 ... B00VLB3QB2
Here are some others:
http://manybooks.net
Of course it depends a bit on what format you want too.
There are quite a few but most must be purchased.
good luck

Re: Were can I find Audio Books..
Check out your local library's website and see if they do digital loans. You may be able to find some audible books to borrow that way.
Try politeness; people will like you for it.

Hi "Spud1200",
I just read your post and the good replies to it. Here are my thoughts on this as well.
It would help to know more about your system setup. If you run "inxi -Fxzd" from the console terminal prompt, highlight the results, copy and paste them back here, that should provide enough information.
"Audible.com" (from Amazon.com) is a great choice.

Re: (Solved) Were can I find Audio Books..
I was blown away by this thread. Great question.
I've used gutenberg, librivox, and archive. I play audio on a SanDisk Sansa Clip Zip. I read and watch on a desktop. So 2010 of me I know, but it works for me
Something that might not be as obvious is youtube and ted. The audio can be stripped out. Multiple ways of doing it, but youtube-dl has an -x | --extract-audio option. And at Ted, when you scroll over the video there is a download option on the right (at least on my screen ), you have the option of only downloading the audio.
Here's, "Linus Torvalds: The mind behind Linux" (click on download for the audio only option):
https://www.ted.com/talks/linus_torvald ... hind_linux
GoogleTechTalks (download w/youtube-dl with -x option):
https://www.youtube.com/user/GoogleTechTalks
Search for "linux tutorial X", where "X" is whatever you neeed, at youtube and you'll have a gazillion options.
Podcast-wise, I mostly listen to BBC and Inquiring Minds... technical but not linux specific.
Inquiring Minds: https://soundcloud.com/inquiringminds
Philosphers Arm: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01lyb8 ... /downloads
On the left-hand side of http://distrowatch.com/, there is a list of Linux podcasts, titled "Latest Podcasts".
There's a free Ubuntu magazine, "Full Circle", http://fullcirclemagazine.org/. Linux Mint is based on Ubuntu. They have a weekly podcast.
