I looked in the documents section https://linuxmint.com/documentation.php and it seems to be available in several languages, but not including English.
Odd.
I'm probably missing something VERY obvious, but I'd appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction.
Cheers

Re: User guide for 17.3 'Rosa' xfce ?
The English User Guide for the Cinnamon edition is the authoritative one. Throughout the years users have helped update it, rework it for other editions and translate it. The major parts of it apply to all editions. Nobody has taken the time to rework if for the differences between the Cinnamon and Xfce editions. Should anybody be so inclined, you can find the sources of the User Guides at the end of the page you linked to.

Re: User guide for 17.3 'Rosa' xfce ?
I've written an English page ("10 things to do") for two versions of the Xfce edition.
17.1 Xfce:
https://sites.google.com/site/easylinux ... eold-first
18.1 Xfce:
https://sites.google.com/site/easylinux ... -mint-xfce
Obviously, the page for 17.1 is the one that's most applicable for your 17.3.

It's the first one in the list...and the only one not in alpha order.vladtepes wrote:I'm probably missing something VERY obvious, but I'd appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction.
Please edit your original post title to include [SOLVED] if/when it is solved!

Thanks all.
Flemur I did see that but as it said Cinnamon I assumed there must have been a different one somewhere for xfce.
It appears there isn't - and that the Cinnamon one should be more than adequate for 99% of stuff (and probably 100% of stuff I'm likely to need)
Pjotr - I'll have a look, ta.
