Can a thread be "bumped" multiple times?
I know on the forum rules it says "no bumping" until after 48 hours. I asked a question about a week ago and bumped it after 48 hours. It has since been several days with no response and the bump option is gone. Is there anyway to bump it again or should I just delete the post and repost it?

Hi, Borg101.
In case you have to bump a thread more than twice, you might start wondering whether you perhaps explained the question or the problem not well enough. (Or you asked a question which has been answered dozens of times during the past 2 weeks already.)
You might have added a link to that thread in your post thus making someone take notice who perhaps has missed it till now.
What do you mean by "the bump options is gone"? Have I missed a button in our forum software? Might be. - You can always reply to your own thread and just type in "bump" or "Does really no-one have a good idea?" or whatever matches the context.
Cheers,
Karl

There's a dedicated bump option? Where?
Just reply to your own thread asking for an update or with a one-line *BUMP*

Adding more information seems much more appropriate than "BUMP"

It is in the drop-down list when you click the down arrow on the bottom left of the page. It appears 48 hours (I think) after your post if unanswered.MintBean wrote:

Re: Can a thread be "bumped" multiple times?
You're welcome. I've used the bump option a few times.
To answer one of the OP's questions, I think a thread can be bumped only once.

if you don't get any replies to your issues,
then it may be that no-one knows the answer to that issue,
or that the Resident Guru for that issue, is @ Work .. .. or Asleep !.
so, therefore, you should take the opportunity to elaborate on your issue, a little.
