Receiving notifications on Mint forum user posts via email?

What is the correct way I can adjust the Linux Mint forums settings to notify me via email when a message has been sent in response to a post that I create?

I ask this question because forever [for me] before the Mint forums were even compromised a while back; I was never able to receive email notifications upon an update to a post I created. So I sort of tracked down the postings I made and followed them a slightly more difficult way at least for me.

Now today as an example I am able to click on the 'notifications button' and see others replies to postings that I have created. <-- which is a great help

In notifications I have [clicked] on notification type yet I am unable to see the option listed for enabling email verifications.

I do apologize if I have posted in the incorrect area I would appreciate help on this if possible. I understand this may be a sortof 'dumb' question for some but I am really wondering about it.

I think I figured it out with your help.

The following options seemed to have helped my situation; I have included screenshots also [far below]

*Username* <---- panorain

User Control Panel

Board preferences

Edit posting results

Notify me upon replies by default -- I ticked [yes] <---- or someone did

WOW this is going to help someone ---> I am finally getting emails sent to my email provider inbox as well as I am receiving notifications via on the forums here .
