I'd like to propose a new software center icon, since the one LM uses now is practically the same as the one for Synaptic. I realize the two programs share some traits, but especially for newcomers the software center icon isn't really very descriptive or inviting.
How do I go about submitting a design suggestion? (Not the technical details, I'm a designer, so I know how to make the image itself and its various formats, I just want to know where to send it for consideration).

Sounds like the Development forums would be a good place to start. Perhaps the "Artwork" or "Suggestions & New Ideas" forums would be appropriate.
