[SOLVED]Is it possible to change my username?

Post by dave2 » Wed Apr 17, 2019 11:59 pm

Is there a way that I can change my username in my account? There is a person that uses the same username as the one that I use here, he is popular on a few different websites and he asked me if I can change my user name.

I am not using any version of Linux mint at the present time. I am using a windows 10 professional 32 bit operating system.

lol

I wouldn't put up with such a request and would laugh at him, heartily.

Thank you for the answer, I appreciate it. I have posted links below to other threads about this subject. I know how to change my email address and my password and other things, but I am not able to change my user name. One member said that it can be done if you are using a Linux Mint operating system on your computer, but I am using a windows 10 operating system.

Those links are all to change your username for the Linux OS itself, not on this forum. I think you would need to PM one of the mods to change your name on here.

memberlist.php?mode=team
Linux Mint 19.1 MATE (64 bit) on a HP G70 laptop (circa 2008)
Intel Pentium Dual Core T3400 @ 2.16GHz -- 3GB RAM -- 1TB HDD
Intel Mobile 4 Series graphics -- Intel 82801I audio
Atheros AR242x/AR542x wireless network adapter

The mods can't do that, so PM one of the admins instead.

If your name is Dave, tell him to put his request where the sun never shines. Despite him thinking that is shines out of his nether regions, it doesn't!
