Built-in Nvidia support coming?

Post by ajgringo619 » Sat Jul 13, 2019 8:44 pm

Looks like Ubuntu LTS is going to be adding native Nvidia support (no more PPAs): https://itsfoss.com/ubuntu-lts-latest-nvidia-drivers/
Mint 19.2 XFCE
kernel 4.15.0-64-generic
AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core w/16 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 960 w/2GB RAM (435.21)

That's what it sounds like. They will now include the latest Nvidia drivers in the regular repositories for LTS releases.
It will make it easier to get the drivers you need.
Good News.

Sure wish they would include the Radeon Mobility drivers too.
