Attention to all, systematically giving an unvarying image of LinuxMint! Running all over the web, you will find several logos of our distro and that is not good for the future.
We have to accept one logo definitely and do communicate only this one.
Especially websites like Distrowatch are the best advertisers for Mint. It is important to invite them respecting this logo. This one they have is another one as this one we can see on the Mint pages...
It is the first task of a communication force to take care of those aspects.
So friends, please think of the importance of this and don't forget to standardize banners, logos, gimmicks, widgets etc.
Personally i like the present logo. It is much more modern and professional. Clem, it could be interesting to organize a vote about it.
It would be pathetic that image and presentation could be out of proportion with the quality of the product.

Hi Phil,

We'll be talking to tomorrow morning in order to tell them about our new release and we'll ask them to use our new logo as well.
