I see in my 'top' listing that I have several processes that I do not know what they do or why they are there.
One is BOINC from the Univ of California; its a client that allows researchers to use my machine for distributed projects like SETI.
Does Mint install this by default?
I don't remember doing it but i might have.
There are also several other processes that look peculiar; one is called Isolated Service . and another one is Isolated Web co...
Does anyone know where these come from or what they do?
Thanks,
