anyone else's iGoogle page change recently?

Post by Habitual »

This craptastic "enhancement" started on my iGoolge page today (or so)
Logging out doesn't change it. Clearing Cache/History neither.

Anyone else having a similar experience on their iGoogle?

Thanks.

Nope.

I am using Firefox-6.0 and my Home page is iGoogle (http://google.com/ig)

And nothing has changed; all my settings are the same.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Recently, actually a couple weeks back, Google has removed the google/linux search engine from it's repertoire.

If you try and search with http://google.com/linux it defaults to another search engine.

Thanks, but I am not sure how the OMGU* page is relevant except for User Styles which I have installed.

I guess my main complaint is that my CHOICE was taken away.

just for this part in the beginning :)
Google began rolling out a darker menu bar across its sites and services yesterday.
so it seems it's a layout change

Well, I guess I'm not the only (visually) offended person, so it will only be a matter of time before someone figures out (how or codes smth) to remove|inhibit it.

It smacks of Ubuntu.

These decorative "features" get any more numerous, I'm searching for a new search provider, or switch to the "search google from c-li" script I wrote.

Trouble is the "enhancements" are on every page. Eeek.

Any one got a Stylish that gives me back the real Classic (i)Google?

All I'm seeing here is the black menu bar, which doesn't bother me. Am I not seeing some other changes that others are seeing?
