A heartfelt thank you

Post by JerryF »

I've been using Mint for almost 3 years and loving it! Even my partner is happy with it (and it's difficult to make him happy when it comes to the computer).

My partner and I were watching a commercial for FixMeStick and I explained what it's supposed to do. He mentioned to me that since I switched his computer to Linux, he hasn't had the popup and virus warnings anymore. My partner said, "It's a good thing that we have Linux now." (He's funny, he keeps pronounces Linux as līnəks.)

Thank you to all, past and present, who have made Mint possible!

Jerry

Last year we said, 'Things can't go on like this', and they didn't, they got worse.

I'd also like to to express my gratitude for all the work which goes in to Mint, I meant to post this ages ago but got distracted as usual.

Here you can read and hear (spoken by Linux Torvalds himself) the pronunciation.
