Then how do you retrieve your email when on the run and away from your desktop?
The question was not directed at me but I'll reply anyway: I either use my laptop or wait until I get home.
If I need to pack light and have access to email, I'll bring my netbook.
Appreciate your reply to me Moem :D
Netbook? What company makes them and what OS do you have on it?

You don't.
If they need an answer quickly they can ring/text.

Mine is an old Lenovo Ideapad S10 and it's running Mint 19.3 XFCE.

Well, I need to rethink my purchase of an expensive Lenovo. If I can locate something such as you have but have lithium batteries that may be the way to go.

Me too, which is why I look forward to the Pinephone. I've never had any sort of smart phone, and don't intend to until there are non-Google devices available.

If you are asking me I can not, nor do I want to. The desk computer is for work; the phone is for me. I never mix business and pleasure.

My netbook is an Acer eMachines 350, 10.1" screen, 32 bit, November 2009, now with 2GB of RAM, SSD, Mint Mate 18.1.
It originally had Win XP and we went to Mint on a stick for security while travelling then changed to an SSD with Mint as why would anyone keep Windows?

I would love a Mint phone-top. Just thinking of the billions of targets. But, after all,
we would be just a flea climbing an elephant's rump with lecherous intentions
