Quote taken from one of my regular forums

"The downside of Mint Linux is that i am fairly certain it will be shut down by some legal action. they are openly supporting what some would call "illegal" activities."

It's just the same as enabling Multiverse repo in Ubuntu I would have thought.
You gave a good answer here 900i.
Beyond this, we all have to manage that Linux keep its freedom and tolerance properties and never become a multi guru sect

If the owners want we take off the proprietary stuff from Mint, they only have to say it, we can remove that and we can create a solution for this(for example, an automatix for Mint, or CNR), really this is not a problem, I think.

Then they also have to shut down PCLinuxOS, SabayonLinux, etc.

Mint isn't the first or last to do this.

I my opinion that's the best solution for Mint. Having its own "kind of automatix" repository. One click installation and peace of mind.
