Quantum Leap - Netflix

Postby SC23 » Wed Mar 12, 2014 10:23 pm

Quantum Linux User SC23 stepped into the Mint particle accelerator and made Netflix work on Mint 15. Upon upgrading to Mint 16 it stopped working. Now he hopes every update is his last to get it to work. (Que Scott Bakula)

Not askin for help, just had that theme running in my head when I realized I really do hope every update, especially cornholio and wine, bring it back. ;)

I like the Beavis and Butthead reference at the end. :-)

I broke my pipelight with some updates to Mint 13. Sadly I made several updates and don't know which one did it.

Just reinstall the Netflix Desktop from the PPA.
I have never been able to get PipeLight to work, the PPA seems messed up.
My good old PC:
Core2quad@2.33, 6GB Ram, Radeon HD 6850. Mint 18 Cinnamon edition. Now with an SSD!! Zoooom! LM18/Cinnamon.

My prob is the Nvidia graphics card in my laptop. Even when I load Mint from scratch I have to use recovery/safe mode until I can load prop drivers. I have tried everything..and until it gets better support I think I will just have to listen to Hulu ads.. sigh..
