I understand when Ubuntu makes installing codecs and stuff so easy that it doesn't matter much to have them preinstalled or not.... in installations. But for a LiveCD, no one wants to install these over and over each time one boots up from CD. IMO, this is Mint 2.2's main advantage over Ubuntu 7.04 other than looks and style. I'm anxiously waiting to see Mint 3.0's comparison.
Maybe this should be in a different thread, but I'm curious what Mint developers think the CNR system lacks (given that Synaptic is also installed) that Mint wants an alternative for CNR.
