Desktop Shortcut for websites

Post by em05184 »

Linux newbie here, I am running 18.1 Cinnamon and am trying to create a desktop short cut to one of my bookmark web site. I can't seem to find anything on here. Is this possible with Cinnamon or do I have to change to Mate, KDE? Any help is appreciated.

Right click on the desktop, then click Create new launcher here. For the command, enter firefox <somewebsite>.
