Synaptic & openvpn?

Post by wallyUSA »

I tried to use synaptic (for the 1st time) to install openvpn. It said it is already installed.
see image 01.

But when I go to the application menu, I can not find 'openvpn'? see image 02.

What am I missing?

There is no menu entry for openvpn.

If you can man openvpn then it's installed.

dpkg -L openvpn will list the package contents

They say your favorite Mint edition was the one you installed when you still went to school with your friends.
