There is a number of other apps but I'll name just 2 I have acually worked with: OpenShot and Kdenlive can do it.

OpenShot kinda didn't do it.ColdBootII wrote:There is a number of other apps but I'll name just 2 I have acually worked with: OpenShot and Kdenlive can do it.
Kdenlive was more intuitive and something like Sony Vegas pro, so i guess familiarity made it easy for me

Glad you have found what you wee looking for. I have never used Sony Vegas but it seems VERY popular in WIndowsland. How does Kdenlive compare? I am curious. Can you give your thoughts?Crazy wrote:OpenShot kinda didn't do it.ColdBootII wrote:There is a number of other apps but I'll name just 2 I have actually worked with: OpenShot and Kdenlive can do it.

Also note that the latest version of Kdenline - which you can PPA if you want - adds a wad of new features, especially effects, compared to the rendering in the Mint repositories. Prior to THE last version it had some nasty RAM leaks but the latest update seems to have solved these. The new effects are proving to be VERY useful to me!

Hi Jedinovice
I ran:
Would that install the version you're talking about?
I ran:
Code: Select all
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kdenlive/kdenlive-stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install kdenlive
They say your favorite Mint edition was the one you installed when you still went to school with your friends.
