18.3 Cinnamon
Not sure if it gets any better than this This new version runs flawless. I like it better than my LMDE2 laptop

Re: 18.3 Cinnamon
Although I don't know what Cinnamon is like, I do prefer 17.3 over 18 (KDE).
17 just looked more polished, structured, professional.
rant begin-
The menu isn't small and designed like 17.3. Can't have dolphin icon where I want it. The icons look more cartoonish (like firefox).
Even though the fonts are the same from 17.3, the fonts in my financial layout are all sloppy looking now and forcing me to slide the cells width around.
VLC media player doesn't seem to show their control bar on the bottom unless I max the picture, then back windowed. maybe a few other things.
-end of rant-
I'm still debating. I miss 17.3. 18 as far as how it works, it works well overall. I'd still take it over Windows and apple anyday.
Despite my rants, they did a very good job on this. Most of the rants I have are more based on how I want this to look rather than "this and that doesn't work anymore".
In other words, good job!

Unless I'm misinterpreting it, looks like 18.3 Stable is about to hit the streets : http://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/linuxmint.com/stable/18.3/

I have an ISO of Mint 17.3 KDE. Just in case. I use Cinnamon but I prefer the 17.3 version of KDE over the 18 version. Polished is a perfect way to describe it.

Re: 18.3 Cinnamon
I assume 'WE' testers already have the stable release. I know mine is pretty darn stable
