Nice little video here showing visual comparison and also making the important point that Cinnamon isn't the memory hog it used to be. I suppose one thing Cinnamon has is desklets, so the question really is.. if you like desklets, use Cinnamon

I was looking at benchmarks too, and also saying that really there's little difference in the DEs.
