Linux Mint on Thinkpad Yoga S1?
Linux Mint on Thinkpad Yoga S1?
Hi all... I used to play around a bit with Linux more than a few years ago (including Mint), but haven't used it in quite a while. I'm seriously thinking of dumping Windows for good on my Thinkpad, though, as Windows 10 and its perpetual beta state is starting to drive me nuts. I have a Yoga model (~3 + yrs old), i5, 8 MG RAM and 256 GB hard disk. I've heard that Thinkpads are generally good with Linux, so do any of you know of any issues that I might encounter before I take the plunge? I'm not a complete noob, but I'm more than a little rusty with Mint, so any suggestions/help is much appreciated! Thanks.

A forum search of "Yoga" will give the answer you seek.
