my arch install was pretty stable last year. in the past week i did a timeshift restore i lost count at 20. the new gnome 3.28 and a whole lot of issues with updates made it sometimes unbootable or frozen unresponsive. after many hours of pulling hairs i finally got it back and working smooth

Chem says that even if after moving to Arch Linux people call Mint a friendly distribution, they plan to switch to Gentoo and then they’ll see how would anyone call it a noob’s distro while compiling all those packages.
