Browsers are dropping it, even to the point of blocking it. So I got curious.
Also, how many people here still need flash... even for rare occassions?

Re: Will Mint 19 Finally Drop Flash Support?
Some sites still use and require Flash and this is why I have Flash installed. If it is not installed by default in Mint 19, I will have to install it via the Synaptic Package Manager if available.
My preferred browser is linux Pale Moon and the linux version of Flash I'm using in Pale Moon is 29.0.0.171 as of this typing and date of this post.

I can't remember the last time a site asked to enable flash.
Most OS now will not install flash on new installations although it's available in Software Manager.

I had to enable Flash yesterday for something, don't recall where it was.
I wish websites would quit using it all together.

Well, I hope they keep it up, not because I like flash but since there are still some sites I go to that still require it.
So flash - like some weird growth you want to get rid of - refuses to fully go away!
