refurb LM17.0 cinn32 to LM18.3cinn64 works!

Post by Tomgin5 » Wed Jun 20, 2018 8:49 pm

I did a house call today for a non profit to another non profit. 2 dell 640's had LM 17.0 Cinnamon 32 with Celeron processors. The systems were bricked in that the passwords of record did not work. I had 2 live DVD's in my netbook bag so I got into the bios and selected DVD for the boot and wiped the drives and did a full install off WIFI. It was pretty slow with 2 of the computers downloading on not real fast speeds but at least better than 600 BPM. Both machines working fine now. It only took 3 hours. I was teaching 4 0f Their homeless clients how to use Linux on my single core Atom asus netbook with an 8" screen. Zoom works great!
