Is Mint Tessla going to be the final fix

and finally an OS will be perfected and there will be no needs for updates? Can I not worry about anything for about 20 years? I guess 19.1 Tessla is going to be here in Sept/Nov.?

That is never going to happen. Your OS will always need updates.

Well, I guess CtrlAltDel mixes up the cars by "Tesla" and the future Mint release 19.1, nickname "Tessa".
But even if the new release were going to be named "Tessla", this would not mean that it would never need any more software updates.
Weird idea. :?

To answer the question whether Linux Mint 19.1 "Tessa" is going to be the final fix: No, it is not. Telling from the release schema, followed for Mint 17 and 18, Linux Mint 19.1 will be followed by Linux Mint 19.2 and by Linux Mint 19.3, nicknames not defined, yet.
