Before trying that drastic step it would be interesting to know how long it takes your system to run this command and any error messages produced.
sudo btrfs device scan
Also report back output oflsblk -o "NAME,MAJ:MIN,RM,SIZE,RO,FSTYPE,MOUNTPOINT,UUID"
I'm intrigued by whatdev/dm-0
might be on your system.
