Mint 19.2 beta, some weird issues

Post by FullTimer1489 » Wed Jul 24, 2019 6:39 pm

Running Tina
I have been running the bleeding edge repos for weeks.
I have had two problems so far. I had to reinstall caja after one update.
I could not make a folder and do a cut and paste.
You could do them.
But you would have to log out and back in to see them.

Then this week synaptic tried to install a program in the middle of installing dependencies.
It failed. I had to unmark the main program. Install all dependencies then the main program.
So far it was has just been mintmenu it happened on.
Everything else has been fine.

It would be helpful if you identified which 19.2 you're running. I assume you're running 19.2 Mate since you mentioned Caja.

I have to admit I do not fully understand the problem descriptions but if you can reproduce them in a clean 19.2 environment (I am guessing you added the Tina repos to your LM 19.1 install instead) then you should bug report them on the 19.2 issue tracker so they can get fixed.
Tune up your LM 19.x: ppa:gm10/linuxmint-tools
