These threads always crack me up. You'll have to wait for the summer.

My PPA (see my signature) is available for Ubuntu 20.04 though, if you want to feel somewhat minty on there. ;)

Mint 20 will be based on Ubuntu 20.04 which will come in April so it will be some weeks after that.

I'm wondering why. Is there anything specific desire that Mint 19.3 leaves unfulfilled, and that you believe Mint 20 will fulfill?

I was thinking that too. If you really have to have everthing that new why even use a long term support Linux distro? WHy not something like Arch?

If you want to use Linux Mint as a host to run a Windows VM with GPU passthrough then the upcoming release is almost a must. Linux Mint 19.3 uses ancient QEMU and Libvirt packages that miss many improvements of the last 3-4 years of development.

I don't think Arch Linux (or even Manjaro) is an alternative to Linux Mint. I find Linux Mint much more stable and less prone to break things with updates. It also delivers one of the best out-of-the-box experiences, in my opinion. Manjaro is nice as well, but a little too bleeding edge in my opinion.

I'm really looking forward to LM 20.
