NoMachine NX protocol

Post by lewtwo »

I apologize but I am getting old and senile. I seem to remember reading something about a future version of Linux Mint incorporating NoMachine NX protocol for remote desktop management. I found that very interesting as I have been running NoMachine for years. Now I can not seem to find any reference to that possibility.

Is there any validity to to this or is my feeble mind playing tricks on me again ?

Apparently NoMachine does offer a .deb installer for Ubuntu/Mint:

.... so perhaps it's as simple as downloading that .deb file and double-clicking it.

That is the client/server software and yes it is just that simple but you need to do it on both machine (player and server or source and target).
